Tanner Lewis Long was born on September 13, 2000 in Batesville, a son to David Long and Raven Astar Kesler.  The Tan Man was a true rebel - ruthless and full of life, but would happily give you the shirt off his back and expect nothing in return.  He was many things; stubborn, shy, outgoing, sweet and loyal to those he loved.  On September 28, 2018 at the age of 18, Tanner passed away. To all of those around him, Tanner made the world a better place and he will be deeply missed.

Those surviving who will cherish Tanner's memory include his mother, Raven Astar Kesler and father, David (Deb) Long; sister, Carlie Kuhn; brothers, Gregory and Bryce Long; great-grandmother, Mildred Slagel; grandparents, Mary Jane and John Kesler and Dan and April Long, and the aunts, uncles (and their children) who loved him; Stephanie, Gunner, Lori, Mike, Sarah, Josh, Joe, Hannah, and Kayti.

Friends may visit with the family on Monday, October 8, 2018 from 11 a.m. until time of service at 1 p.m. at Metamora Church of God.  Burial will follow after services at Cupps Chapel Cemetery.
