Terrance "Terry" Leo Miller, of Guilford, Indiana, was born in Batesville on April 2, 1959, the oldest son of the late Leo G. "Bud" Miller and Marjorie (Hornbach) Miller Wendel. He married Pamela Mallory on August 8, 1981 at St. Martin's Catholic Church in Yorkville. Terry worked for RJ Beischel Building Company in Cincinnati for 36 years as a concrete foreman and project superintendent. He was a member of All Saints Parish, St. Martin's Campus, and the Laborers #265 Union. In his spare time, Terry enjoyed his family, gardening, hunting, trips to Dale Hollow with friends, and making the turtle soup at the church festival. He was known as a caring friend who was always willing to help others. On Tuesday, November 24, at the age of 56, Terry passed away at his residence surrounded by his loving family.
Those surviving who will cherish Terry's memory include his wife of over 34 years, Pamela Miller; children, Matthew Miller (Jessica Oldham) of Guilford, and Mallory (Leroy) Sterwerf of Milan; mother and step-father, Marjorie and Harold Wendel of Brookville; sisters, Marilyn (Greg) Laudick, and Barbara Pierson (Dave Clemons), both of Yorkville; Janet (Dale) Freese of Batesville; Geraldine (Mike) White, MaryBeth (Brian) Ballard, of Yorkville, and brothers, Patrick Miller and Michael (Sherry) Miller of Yorkville. Also surviving is step-sister, Connie (John) Flashpohler of Batesville; step-brother, Steve (Linda) Wendel of Brookville, as well as numerous nieces and nephews that he loved very much. Besides his father, Terry was preceded in death by sisters, Carol Miller Hester and Teresa Ann Miller.
Friends may visit with the family on Friday, November 27, 2015 from 5 to 9 p.m. at Cook Rosenberger Funeral Home, 107 Vine Street, Sunman. A Mass of Christian burial, officiated by Father Jonathan Meyer, will be held at 10:30 a.m. at All Saints Parish, St. Martin Campus, in Yorkville on Saturday. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
