Thomas N. Lewis, 70, of Sunman, Indiana, passed away Thursday, June 6, 2013 at Margaret Mary Community Hospital in Batesville. He was born November 30, 1942 to Howard and Helen Nolan Lewis. Thomas was very active in the community affairs and was a member of the Sunman Chamber of Commerce and Junior Achievement of Batesville. He was an accountant and owned the Store Caf in Sunman with wife, Darlene. He was a little league coach, a big IU fan and enjoyed softball and basketball. Thomas had a very entrepreneurial spirit that included many business ventures and home projects. Those left to honor Thomas' memory include his wife, Darlene Vicars; daughter, Theresa (Tim) Harrell of Lawrenceburg, IN; step-sons, Eric and Brian Vicars, both of Indianapolis; grandchildren, Roxanne (Aaron) Cook and Tammy (Joe) Abbott; 7 great grandchildren, and brother John. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Todd.Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, June 11, 2013 at Cook Funeral Home, 107 Vine Street, Sunman.
