Obituary

Truman J. Proctor, 74, of Cedar Grove, died suddenly Tuesday, December 3, 2013 at his residence. He was born in Reading, Ohio, a son to Homer and Emma Fields Proctor. He married Helen Frazee over 37 years ago and she survives. Truman retired from Armor Metal 2 years ago after 50 years of employment. He enjoyed camping and was always eager for the hunting season to begin. Those left to honor Proctor's memory include his wife, Helen; sons, Tony Proctor, Jimmy Proctor, and Larry Proctor; stepsons, Rusty Hall, Troy Hall and Gary Meadows; stepdaughters, Sherry Carberry, and Teresa Breaker; 19 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren; and sister, Wilma Bailey. He was preceded in death by his parents.Visitation for friends and family is Friday, December 6, 2013 at Cook Funeral Home, 929 Main Street, Brookville, Indiana from 10 a.m. to 12 noon. Services begin at 12 noon at the funeral home with Bill Richmond officiating. Burial and graveside services will follow in Arlington Memorial Cemetery, 2145 Compton Road, Cincinnati, Ohio at 2:30 p.m. Memorial donations may be directed to Hospice of Margaret Mary Community Hospital.
