Violet June Blevins, 83, of Greensburg died Wednesday, October 12, 2022, at her residence.

June was born in New Castle on September 27, 1939, to William Henry and Ella Mae Wesley Robinson. On December 26, 2008, June married Richard Detmer in Metamora. June was a faithful member of the Metamora Church of God. She was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking, shopping, traveling, caring for her grandchildren and spending time with her family.

June is survived by her husband, Richard, of Greensburg; children: Deanie Weckop (Nate) of Greensburg, Jim Blevins Jr. (Jessica) of Greensburg, Jeff Detmer (Sandy) of Osgood, John Detmer of Daytona, FL, Julia Cauldwell (Gene) of Milan; Grandchildren: Christopher Hoover, Laurina Blevins, Andrew Blevins, Laura Davidson (Dakota), Vince Cochran (Valeria), Cody, Kyle, Cory, Justin, and Eric;  great-grandchildren: Javiaha and Lilly; siblings: Richard Robinson ( Jeane) of Anderson, and Ray Robinson of Olympia, Washington. She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband: Jim Blevins Sr.; two sisters Helen Matthis and Jewell Cupp; and two brothers: Donnie and Howard Robinson.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 15, 2022, at Metamora Church of God located at 20152 US-52, Laurel, with Pastor Wayne Ison officiating. Friends may visit at the church from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service where memorial contributions may be made to Metamora Church of God.. We will meet at South Park Cemetery ~ 405 S. East Street, Greensburg, at 3:00 p.m. for burial.
