Wilma Taylor, 84, of Brookville, Indiana, passed away Monday, January 7, 2013 at Brookville Healthcare Center in Brookville, Indiana. She was born in Brookville on August 16, 1928 to Edward and Mary Lilly(VanCamp)Glockner.She worked at Batesville Casket Company and retired from Sperry Rubber after 20 years of service. She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary and attended the First Baptist Church of Brookville. She loved birds, flowers and traveling, but most of all, she loved her family.Survivors include; daughter, Sue (Michael) Downard; son, Charles Abernathy; daughter, Bonnie (William) Walker, all of Brookville; and 9 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.Besides her parents, Wilma was preceded in death by; husbands, Webb Doerflein and Clinton Abernathy; son, Gordon S. Doerflein, and sister, Mildred P. Stidhem.Visitation for friends and family will be from 4-7 PM, Friday, January 11, 2013, at Cook Funeral Home, 929 Main Street, Brookville, Indiana. Pastor Steve Downard and Trevor Abernathy will officiate the funeral service beginning at 7 PM. Private burial will be Saturday, January 12, in Maple Grove Cemetery, Brookville, Indiana.
